A few notes from the vineyard

I simply want to give a big thanks to all who came along and participated in the Master Vignerons tutorial in vines wine and unity in Him and I’m thrilled I was able to participate in it as well. Jesus is so very passionate about whom we are in him and the Spirit of the Father and Son delights in making this known to us.

The gospel is the ballistically great news that Jesus created and sustains us then came into our existence, became what we are so that we could be included in his relationship with his Dad in the Spirit. He “co-fermented” humanity with himself so that death would no longer have a hold on us so that we could be in the very life and love that birthed creation in the first place.

Humanity is like the white grape Viognier co- fermented with the red grape Grenache with the colour not being diluted but deepened! Take this wine and blend it with some Shiraz and Tempranillo and resultant is one wine, inseparable but each variety maintaining is distinctness. Aroma, flavour and texture that is so much more complex and beautiful because of the relationship between them, intimate and organic. This wine appreciation is about coming to see the wine for who it is and enjoying the aromas, flavours and textures as they reveal themselves to our senses.

I encourage you to appreciate Jesus as the finest wine of all time, not bringing our predetermined decisions on what he will be like but who the Spirit of the Father and Son reveals him to be. May we appreciate him as we share in common union in Jesus,-communion.

In Jesus
